WHITE WATER RAFTING (Class III & IV)

Located near the Tenorio Volcano in Costa Rica’s Guanacaste region, the Tenorio River winds, churns and flows for 15 scenic miles before merging with the Corobici River. As a tour member, you’ll float down this incredible river for four hours, passing through sections which are dominated by class III-IV white-water rapids.Hold on tightly to your paddle as you plunge through the cataracts and are sprayed with water!

No experience is required, but you will need plenty of strength to take on this world famous class 3 & 4 river section. This challenging river will deplete your energy, so you will be ready for the delicious Costa Rican lunch that will await you after you complete the rafting section. Our staff will make you feel confident and our modern and certified equipment will let you mount the rapids smoothly.

During the smoother sections, take a look around at the lush, forested scenery and try to spot tropical birds perched high in trees. Midway through the adventure, your guide will help you angle the raft onto the riverbank for a lunch of sandwiches, fruit, snacks and drinks.
